1999

CONCERTS

The 1999 UNAIDS Campaign with young people: “Listen; Learn; Live” focuses on communication with young people. MUSICAID, in association with Staffordshire Buddies, is supporting this campaign. The World AIDS Day concerts 1999 represent the biggest efforts yet to involve as many young people as possible to give them the chance to become aware of the issues around HIV in a global context in preparation for the approaching millennium.

Details of this year’s concerts:

Thursday 25th November 7.30pm

St. Peter’ Church, Stoke

Wednesday 1st December 7.30pm

Lichfield Cathedral

We now have a dedicated band of volunteers helping to organize these major events but would welcome more enthusiasts to join the team, especially in the South of the county.

Help needed:

Person(s) to take on the responsibility for ticket sales (one or both concerts)
Someone to take charge/help with publicity
People to help with raffle ticket sales
Able bodied people to help with stage managing concerts (Most help needed for Stoke concert to help arrange rostra)
Help on the night at both concerts with ticket, programme, and raffle ticket sales as well as people who would like to look after VIPs.
