Dear Everyone,

I am writing to let everyone know that following long and careful consideration I have decided to leave Staffordshire Buddies at the end of October this year.

I do not currently have any specific plans as to what I will do after my departure, the decision is simply based on a growing feeling that it is time for me to move on to something new.

I intend on completing a number of things that are currently in progress including the first phase of implementing The New Vision. I will also be assisting with the recruitment of a suitable person to fill my post, and if all goes to plan they will start in the middle of October to work alongside me for two weeks before I go.

During the eight years I have worked with HIV services in Staffordshire I have given a great deal to the work and I have received immeasurable amounts of fulfilment and personal growth in return. Although it will be several months hence before it is time to say goodbye, I wanted at this stage to thank each and every one of you for all that you have given to me during this challenging and rewarding period of my life.

There is much work to complete before the time comes for me to leave and I hope you will do whatever you can to help make this transition as smooth as possible.

Andrew J. Colclough
Manager
