 The
fourteenth of February was celebrated with readings of verse and prose at Scruffy Murphys by members of Queer Stuff There was a very good turn out in the number of supporters and the evening also had a new format. Instead of a single interval in the middle of the programme, there were several short breaks, a style used by a similar group in Manchester. This seems to be a good idea as it allows more socialising to take place and that surely has to be one of the aims of these informal occasions. An
interesting collection of items entertained or provoked thought or did both. It was well put together and the management both on stage as well as front of house seemed to work very well. So
well done to Keith and his merry band of literati! |
