SERVICE UPDATE

We've decided to give the services review page a bit of a makeover. In future this will highlight 'special events' that have taken place in the last 3 months, as well as documenting information about service users and new referrals. If you think we should usefully provide any other information, please let us know.

The overview picture of the last 3 months is that we've had more referrals during this time than we had in the first 6 months of last year. This high rate of new referrals is intensified by many of our new clients having quite complex and multiple needs, sometimes related to Asylum Seeker or Refugee status. These issues are relatively new ones for our organisation and, although challenging, are issues that we believe we are responding to well, through both our service development and volunteer development programmes.

In addition, during the last 3 months a number of special events have taken place alongside regular services. These included: Women's away-day to Royal Leamington Spa, Children & Young People's trips to Alton Towers and Bowling, and the Annual Service Users boat trip courtesy of Father Brian. If there are any special events you'd like to see planned, please contact Matt, Rosie or Tracy with your suggestions.
