Positively
Women
was established in 1987 by a group of HIV positive women who were
determined to set up services specific to women's needs. They formed
a support group which provided a safe space for women to talk openly
about the challenges they faced. Today, the organisation remains strongly
committed to the ethos of peer support and empowerment. Positively
Women, now has a web site. You can view it at:

The
HIV Awareness Ring
is a collection of sites dedicated to HIV or AIDS, including, but
not limited to educational sites, personal experiences, and memorials
for those who have lost the fight. A webring is a collection of sites
dedicated to a similar theme. You can travel from site to site using
the special links provided on each site, and eventually you will end
up back where you started. This is a great way to increase visitors
to a site and to become acquainted with others that have similar interests.
Membership is free. http://mav.nu/hiv/ring.html

The
Life Boat
is a website for HIV positive heterosexuals at which all are welcome.
The creator of the site says: ”My intentions were never to leave anyone
out…Over the years as we’ve drifted through the HIV/AIDS ...gay sites,
we’ve always been made to feel welcome...This site is the other side
of the same coin...So come on in relax and enjoy. ” It is a fun site
full of useful personal stuff and has the added attraction of music
